Make your wedding day, corporate event, or birthday party truly special and memorable with the delightful presence of our charming Beverage Burros, Dolly and Waylon. These adorable companions will warmly greet your guests, pose for unforgettable photos, and serve refreshing cold drinks, tasty snacks, or fun party favors such as bubbles or programs from their baskets.
Dolly is the matriarch of our donkey herd. She is a spotted white mini donkey, 34” tall and 11 years old. She loves scratches on her neck and behind her ears.

Donkey facts: Minis are naturally small in size, ranging from 26” -34” tall. they come in a variety of colors and markings, including chestnut, spotted, skewbald, cream, grey, brown and black
Waylon
Waylon is one of our three mini donkeys owned by Funny Ass Farm. His beautiful black coat is soft and he loves attention from guests! He is 10 years old and 34” tall.

What is a Beverage Burro?
A beverage burro wears a decorated pack saddle with baskets filled with beverages of your choice. Not only are they the cutest bartenders - they are available for cuddles, posing for photos, and to make your event unique and unforgettable!
What do they carry in their baskets?
The possibilities are endless! Dolly and Waylon can serve beer, non-alcoholic beverages, party favors, programs, etc.
Will my event venue allow Beer Burros
We are equipped to work both indoors and outdoors. If working indoors, it needs to be cleared by the venue first. Our donkeys wear special tack underneath their packs to keep the mess at a minimum and booties to keep from slipping on slick surfaces.
Who is responsible for the beverages?
All beverages must be provided by the client or venue. Our handlers are IPACT certified and are able to ID guests if needed. Our certifications are available upon request.
How long will you work an event?
The donkeys can be available for 1 or 1.5 hours. Please contact us for pricing and availability.
Can I only rent one donkey?
Donkeys are herd animals and don’t like being alone. Dolly and Waylon will always work together, each with their own handler.
Where are you located?
We are located in Story City but will travel to the Des Moines Metro area. Feel free to reach out, traveling outside central Iowa is a possibility!
